Consumer Panel is one of the most effective methods to measure the market because the data is received from the consumer. It is especially important in Croatia, where a considerable number of purchases are made in non-traditional outlets (for example, open markets and the outdoor trade) and through trade representatives (this is especially true of the cosmetics market) which is beyond accurate registration by another methods of market appraisal.
The consumer panel collects data about products that have been bought an adds this to our internal database. We know WHO bought the product (socio-demographic profile), WHAT was bought (all the information about the product, including bar-code, that allows you to determine all the details about the product), WHEN (the date of a purchase, that helps us to fix not only the purchase but the consistency of purchases as well) and WHERE (the respondent indicates the trade channel or trading network).
